NYC World Police and Fire Games 2011
Club Members compete in 2011 New York 'World Police & Fire Games'
In August 2011 club members Mark Pereson and Ben Lewin, along with Club President and coach Chris Schilt travelled to New York city to compete in the World Police and Fire Game. Both being first time fighters both put in solid work leading up to the competition and gave it their all.
Ben lost his bout in close fight that went to a points decision, while Mark put in a solid effort to win his first two fights and make the final. In a close fight Mark lost on points in the final of his weight category to claim the silver medal.
Both were relieved to enjoy a good meal and beer after their respective bouts.

$1000 donation to Childrens Hospital after successful Trivia Nigh
The trivia night was a great success and there has been great feedback from many guests.
The club has will be donating $1,000 to the Prince of Wales, Childrens Hospital Randwick. A short presentation will take place Friday 12th March 2010 at 1.30pm at the Hospital.

Trivia Night details confirmed - Tickets Available
NSW POLICE BOXING TRIVIA NIGHT
SATURDAY 6TH FEBRUARY 2010 - 6PM START
DACEYVILLE PCYC HALL, BUNNERONG ROAD, DACEYVILLE
The NSW police boxing club is holding a trivia night to assist its fundraising for it's member's trip to Thailand for training camps and exhibition bouts.
The Trivia night will be a fun night, with plenty of prizes up for grabs with raffles, auctions and of course the trivia prizes.
Food will be provided from a greal local caterer, and there will be alcohol sold at a highly competative rate, available for adults.
The night will be fun filled and all are welcome. Organise a table of people to attend. Tickets are available from Chris Schilt (0412 779 247) and Ben Lewin (0433 568 211).

Boxing Club fundraising
Due to the growth of the club, fundraising activities have commenced. All funds raised will go toward equipment, facilities and toward a 2010 trip for members to Thailand where they will participate in Muay Thai and MMA training camps, and it proposed that numerous members have invitiation bouts with local police and other local competitors.
The club will be holding a Trivia night in early 2010 (Date to be announced) at the Daceyville PCYC, Bunnerong Road, Daceyville (South East Sydney). The night will be a fun night, with alcohol being served, food provided, raffles, auctions, and of course the trivia itself, with many attractive prizes to be won.

The expanding New South Wales Police Boxing Club
NSW Police Boxing Club
The New South Wales Police Boxing club has over 30 official members and is rapidly growing.
The club consists of persons of all ages and abilities. Some members have had numerous bouts at numerous events, with a high success rate. However the club also has members who attend weekly boxing fitness classes for general exercise and socilising.

The club was formed for police officers and their families and friends, but has grown with friends of friends joining, and has always a friendly, welcoming vibe.
.
Club President Chris Schilt has been involved in boxing since he was a child and has had many ameteur bouts. He can arrange the purchase of equipment such as gloves and hand wraps. Chris Schilt, Belinda Schilt, Michael Wheeler and Ben Lewin generally share duties in running the club and the classes.

Feel free to join us on Saturday mornings at the Daceyville Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) on Bunnerong Road, Daceyville at 830am. There is a small fee to join the club and once a member of the club and PCYC each Saturday sessions are only $5. Addition training and sparring is generally free when arranged with other members. All monies are put back into the club, to purchase/hire equipment, facilities, cover insurance etc.
